I will be focusing on template layers, nothing fancy, just for those who want different cars for their Nr2003 game.

First up, a Pontiac Firebird For the NXS Mod.

If I can get permission to release this I will, If not, then I will just release the Pontiac layers, without the template.

Seeing Highbanks Trans-Am cars has inspired me to create my own car, in anticipation of a release. I'm not a road racer at all, and as such the car is a mix of vintage Trans-Am cars, and Vintage Nascar's(which I'm more conformable with)

Being a 70's based vehicle, it is devoid of the crazy sponsors, and has a much simpler paint scheme, unlike today's crazy designs. Being a Road Racing car, it has no numbers on the headlights, and a number circle on the door (as most cars have)

Any road racing expert see any other things I'm missing? Like I said, Road Racing is not my thing (but It may be once I get my wheel)

So it is the opposite of Kyle Busch's NOS car?

I'm returning with a new template, a "What if" Merkur XR8Ti. Now a history lesson. In the 80's European and Japanese cars were in demand over domestic cars, so Ford launched a new brand to sell European fords, called Merkur(German for Mercury) This brand sort of bombed, and was shut down after only 5 years. Despite this ,Merkur did participate in racing, notably Trans-Am racing.

Since Merkur no longer exists, I had to get creative, and since Merkur sold European Fords, I used Ford Focus parts. Also, I added the Merkur double window, which was a unique feature, and allows it to stand out a little. The extra windows can be tuned off, though I suggest keeping it on for the effect.

OK I love the concept...being a retro kinda guy, but I have to cry foul!
The thing about the Merkur was those funky square headlights and very little grill....if they were to bring it back I'd think they'd lean a little that way...

The last street cars had some added radiator openings...

The taillights would borrow from the Mustangs as that's what they did back in the day...

My dos centavos

Makes sense, I just never thought of it because so many cars had square-ish headlights in the late 80's early 90's. The double windows stood out more to me.
