In December of last year my uncle and I decided to make the jump and upgrade computers for a better racing experience. We decided on two Dell Inspiron 5675's with the AMD Ryzen 5 setup and Windows 10 assuming this would be enough to run nr2003 fairly well even with mods. Overall the computer is very nice it runs the game at a decent frame rate for a 4k monitor. Everything ran fairly well through the first few months and then we both began to have the same problem. During a race with no clear reason (one track or being far back in the field) and no definitive time such as a certain lap the game will freeze the sound turns to a low hum and the computer restarts. At first I thought I should go through and update all drivers this didn't help. I tried lowering or turning off any graphics modifications that had been made again with no such luck. At this point I'm pretty well out of ideas. I believe I'm going to uninstall the game and reinstall it without any mods and see what happens but to properly troubleshoot that means I must add each series and track in one by one. Obviously that's a process no one wants to go through. Does anyone have any ideas that they believe could be causing my problem that I should try before that horror?
