Hi guys, to make it easy for everyone I added the direct download links to version 1.1 and 1.2 on the first post of this topic.

Hope you're enjoying the cars.

Real fantastic cars. I love 'em all. Your paintings are refreshing this 'old' mod. Makes me remembering to that wonderful times when the CART series raced from Surfers Paradise to Laguna Seca.
If nobody has any requests to you and if you'd still like to make more of these wonderful paintings ... I wouldn't hesitate to make a few more suggestions to you - if you would permit it.
Thanks again for all your activities to keep OWR alive.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to make more cars. Probably yes, but I'm searching for a direction because I achieved what I wanted that was to make all the main drivers from the good old Indycar days.

What suggestions do you have in mind? Maybe your requests will provide me inspiration to continue.

If I decide to make more I'll probably start next week because I'm full of work right now.

Sorry, don't want to bother you. Didn't know you're full of work.
If you decide to continue making cars I think the following cars could fill your carset: The 1998 IRL cars of Greg Ray (#2), Scott Goodyear (#4), Eddie Cheever, Jr. (#51); the 1994/2001/2003 Michael Andretti cars (#8/39/7), The 1993 cars of Teo Fabi (#8), Al Unser, Jr. (# & Robby Gordon (#14); a 1993 or 1994 Farewell car of Mario Andretti (#6), the 1992 car of John Andretti (#8) and a Marlboro car of Emerson Fittipaldi for example.

Don't worry, it's no bother at all.

Greg Ray's car is pratically done. I had almost finished once but my pc froze and I lost the file so I had to start all over again and never finished. Goodyear and Cheever are cool additions as Goodyear's paint scheme has a lot more black like Steve Park's NASCAR ride and Cheever's was just beautiful.

Michael's ride at Ganassi is easy because I have a 92/93 Cheever that I forgot to add to the carset and it's the same paint scheme. His 2001 Motorola ride is nice and his 2003 paint scheme is the same as Kanaan's that comes with the mod.

Mario's farewell car is easy since it's the same paint scheme as Mansell's. About Emerson, you gave me an idea. I'll make his 1996 Red Marlboro car that was beautiful.

As for John Andretti, it's an idea but I think it'd be more cool to make his Foster's Porsche ride instead. What do you think?

The same with Fabi, why not the 89/90 Porsche of his last win ?

I can even do your requests regarding Fabi and John but I might do mine as well x'D because I don't wanto to have like 100 drivers with pratically the same Pennzoil paint scheme.

Robby is AJ's car with a different helmet.

What do you think ?

Hi Ramerson,
Jean-Luc would reply: "Make It So". You're right with your meaning (about the 100 drivers with Pennzoil paint scheme). The Scott Goodyear car is important for me, 'cause I've bought it as a Die-Cast several years ago. There is a 1999 Scott Goodyear car for the IndyCar_Racing mod but it would be nice special for me to use it for the OWR-mod, too. Your idea for the J. Andretti & T. Fabi cars is great. Thanks for the exchange of ideas ;)

I'm organizing my list of cars to make and I noticed that your requests of Al Unser Jr's 1993 and Emerson Fittipaldi's Marboro car are already done on the 1988 carset. Do you have this carset? Because those 2 cars are pretty much the same from 88 to 93.

I'll make Emerson's 1996 car anyway. Look below.

One other thing, do you really want the 1998 Greg Ray or his 1999 Championship winning car ? The one I have almost done is his 1999 Menards ride.

Michael Andretti 1994

I'm squeezing every bit of time I have to continue painting these cars. I just love those years of Indycar.
Same to me. I'll never forget the 1994 Surfers Paradise Race when Michael Andretti returned to PPG IndyCar World Series in the car above after a disastrous 'detour' 1993 in Formula One. He dominated the whole race, leading nearly every lap, won every restart, made one mistake in the chicane without any serious consequences. The race was finished shortened due to darkness. It was a pitty, that Michael couldn't keep this strong level the whole season long; this year was dominated by the Marlboro Team Penske and specially Al Unser, Jr. The following year Michael returned to Newman/Haas Racing to take his father's car. He was my favourite driver until he finished his career in 2003. His switch from CART to IRL after the 2002 season and the leave of Penske, Ganassi, Honda & Toyota was the beginning of the defeat against Tony George.

Eddie Cheever 1992

This was the one I fogot to add to the previous versions of the carset and I used as base to Michael's car.
Since I don't have a lot of time this week I've begun painting the ones that I have a base ready.

Next will be Mario Andretti 1994 farewell car.

That race was awesome. Michael is my favorite driver as well, I was so excited when he went to F1 but unfortunately it didn't work out and then he came back like a mad man in that race fighting Mansell from the start. One of the best races.

Since I'm working from home like most people during this COVID-19 pandemic. I started rewatching every race since 1984 and I'm up to 1995 now, just watched the Cleveland GP this morning. I put the race on the TV while I'm working. It's just great.

I was running some test laps on the OWR mod today. For an older mod, it works flawlessly and is a ton of fun.
Again, thanks so much for all these great additions!

The mod is still a lot of fun. Recently I downloaded a Detroit Belle Isle and Toronto tracks that are just perfect. Can't remember where I got them, I know the guys share their links on facebook.
