Hello! I am new in painting, and I need some help. I use GIMP 2 for painting cars, and I like a lot this software, because is the best, for me and for my capabilities, for painting cars. I have a big problem. After painting a car, and saving It in .tga format, I will move the file into the NR2003's Exports/Imports folder, but when I go to create a new driver into the game, select the MENCS' 2019 mod, and try to import the file on the game's paint shop, It doesn't show the car's template, and It looks completely disaster! Did I miss something, or I committed some mistakes? Please, help me, because I'll became shame, for trying to solve this problem. Thanks to who will help me.

Hey bud, are you able to provide screenshots of what the finished product looks like before your're exporting it via tga? Maybe you have the template backwards, perhaps not turning off the mask, maybe have the wrong template for the mod. There's a couple of different ways this could go, but if you could show us what you're seeing, it will go a long way.

First off, don't use the game's paint shop to do anything. Import your tga from within the games opponent manager, create a new car, say Chevrole for example, then import your tga to that.

I have used GIMP 2 for painting my car! Many many thank you, garrett!!! I have finally solved the problem! Now, I can publish my creation!

I have another questions:
1) How I can get an high resolution car? I see that my cars are so less compressed than much others....
2) For who uses GIMP 2, how I can realize curved lines, without using external images or the classic brush?

Gimp2 must have a pen tool???/ Use that if it does. Hr cars start at the template level, and your decals, etc. You cannot tale a lr car and turn it into a hr car without repainting it.
