i've been working with blender to make some renderings but since Blender 2.83 does not suport 3ds files, i've been testing with .obj files and the renderings, although they work they don't give me the same result as a 3ds max rendering
so if anyone knows how to make this renderings i would appretiate it (ps sorry if i misspell any words, i'm Colombian there for my english can be a bit messy)
or at the very least tell me what type of file to use
WHY.png this is what I get

I am also trying to learn how to use blender. I haven't run into this problem yet, but I did see it in a video. Apparently the grey sections are parts of the model that intersect with the outside skin in blender, and you have to hide the layers one by one. Here is the video that showed me what to do, hopefully it will answer some other questions you may have as well:

well the original cup mod, the thing is I can't find the .x files to make a render for it and also those renders I shared are from the S&G cup0305 mod.
I still need to look for those .x files

That video I posted actually talks about how to do that. You have to use a website that will convert .x into .obj

yeah I actually found out that with the original cup I have to download the Zmod files, then convert them into .x files THEN convert them into .obj files to enter them into Blender and start rendering
