Hey guys, I figured I'd introduce myself here to those who may not know me. I've been part of the NR2003 community since 2005, after stumbling across a copy of the game on a Target clearance shelf for $7.99. I had been painting on the original NASCAR Heat PC game and was excited to check out this still relatively new sim. Since then I have created fictional paints, mod texture updates, on-track effects updates including smoke and sun glare, and am probably most known for my Honda fictional templates. I was thrilled when SRD decided to make the 4th model a generic design and contributed the 2020 Accord template to the mod. I also collaborated with Burnout3D on a hyper-realistic Goodyear Eagle tire texture that we're proud to see become the standard for not only the sim but presentation renders used by the pro NASCAR teams. As a graphic designer by trade this sim has been a great creative outlet, and find I probably spend more time tweaking and adding to the game than I do racing in it. I still see a lot of potential in this sim and look forward to many more years of making it look as good as it can. My website can be found in my signature below.
