Welcome to the Official Thread for my Offline Series, the ASCRL DirecTV Cup Series, I've had this for many years through toy cars, paper, anything, since around 2012 I believe is when it started. This is Season 8.
You'll get to see the history of this series through the backstories of the many teams in this series, 32 full-time cars plus additional cars.
Here's 2 to start you off:
Gary Perry Motorcraft #12.png First up is Gary Perry in the #12 Motorcraft Ford Fusion, Gary, now 51 years old, still races full-time, like he has since the very first season of this series. Motorcraft and Ford support this devoted racer, and he shows no signs of letting up. When asked in an off-season interview when he'd retire, he replied "When I'm 6 feet underground." Gary is known around the garage for his sarcastic off-track and serious on-track attitude. While Gary may not be a Championship contender, he shows promise and keeps the on-track speed of his youth, watch out for him, as he wants to win his first race since Season 4.

Justin Baker Prequelle #75.png Next up is a Rookie, Justin Baker. From San Diego, California, this young gun hasn't had to much exposure to big speedways yet, but he will sure be a contender on Short Tracks, and on the dirt track race this season. Loma Vista recordings will back him for every race, advertising various records that they release. The car you're looking at is backed by the new album by Swedish metal outfit Ghost, this album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, and doesn't look to be slowing down yet. As Ghost prepares for A Pale Tour Named Death sweeping across the US this fall, Justin will look to do them proud by getting some wins, and the 20 year old looks on track to be doing just that.

(NOTE: Ignore the Sprint Cup logos on the cars, I haven't gotten around to making the series logo yet)

Next up is one of the powerhouse teams in the serious, XX Motorsport! This team has only been around for 3 seasons, and has 2 Championships under their belt, pretty impressive if you ask me!
    David Roberts Artic Cat #11.png
David Roberts Textron Off Road #11.png
David Roberts is a 32 year old veteran of the series, being around since Season 2, he joined this team in their first season and won the championship, finished 3rd in the standings in season 6, and won the title again in Season 7, as the defending champ, he knows he has a target on his back, but he seems calm and cool coming into his 6th season. Artic Cat and Textron Off Road will split primary sponsorship 50-50 this year. Look out for this veteran this season.
    Jonathan Lee Interstate Batteries #55.png
Jonathan Lee Mobil 1 #55.png Jonathan Lee ToyotaCare #55.png
Jonathan Lee is another driver that has been with this team since the beginning, he finished 5th in the standings in season 5, 4th in season 6, and 2nd in season 7, runner up to his teammate last season, he has motivation to beat him this year. New sponsor Mobil 1 has joined his team, while Interstate Batteries and ToyotaCare remain on the sponsor list. Watch out for this 27 year old this season.
    Peter Sanchez ToyotaCare #66.png
Peter Sanchez DC Solar Blue #66.png
Peter Sanchez DC Solar White #66.png
Peter Sanchez is a young gun finally in the spotlight, after an impressive season last year for his family team, Sanchez Autosport, Peter was offered a contract with XX Motorsport, he accepted, leaving his family team. The 23 year old enters his sophomore season with high hopes being in better equipment. ToyotaCare will back him for 6 races, while DC Solar will sponsor the rest, with a special white paint scheme for the night races.

Next up, Byers Motorsports, this is the other powerhouse team, from Season 1, this team has collected 4 total championships, as well as 25 wins. Michael Byers, the team owner, expects this to be another good season.
    Fred Foster Jimmy John's #1.png
First up is veteran Fred Foster, the 36 year old has garnered 15 wins so far, but only 6 with Byers, his former team, Everest Racing, shut down after this past season due to lack of funding. Jimmy Jonh's will continue to sponsor Fred for the 5th season in a row, Fred Enters his fourth season with Byers this year, and looks to be ready to go for a championship.
    Harold Young Coca-Cola #5.png
Harold Young has been with this team since the beginning, the Lewisburg, PA native caught the eyes of this team when he was racing on dirt at the famed Selinsgrove Speedway in his own Late Model, he got signed for the first season of this series and has driven car #5 ever since. New sponsor Coca-Cola joins this year, his former sponsor, SportClips Haircuts, left this team to join another team. Harold has 5 career wins, 3 of which come on the dirt race at Bristol. Harold is excited to begin his 8th season with the team and train their up and coming rookie.
    Peter Brooks FedEx #20.png
If you want to find proof that age isn't everything in racing, look to Peter Brooks, the 55 year old started racing back in the 1980's, and has raced just about everything possible. FedEx, his long time sponsor, continues to sponsor him for his 5th year at Byers Motorsport. He looks to gain more wins this season to prove retirement hasn't arrived yet.
    Jimmy Russell Reese's #24.png
    Jimmy Russell Kit Kat #24.png
    Jimmy Russell Rolo #24.png
Rookie Jimmy Russell has finally made it to the big scene, replacing legendary Dick Jones in the #24 Hershey's Chevrolet. This car is where the team began, and it has won three of their 4 championships. Jimmy grew up around the racetrack, helping his Unlce and Father work on their cars, eventually he got to drive a few laps, and it all started. At 29, Jimmy is the oldest rookie to ever come to this series, but that won't stop him from winning. Look out for him at the half mile ovals, because he will be there.

Next up, Rigid Racing! This team is a pretty young, only entering their second full season. This team keeps their same driver lineup as last season.
    Justin Long Gamestop #3.png
Justin Long(I forgot his driver sig) is from Florida, he enjoys surfing, and just hanging out. But during racing season, he's all business, on and off track. Gamestop, a long time sponsor of Justin, looks for more success out of him this season. Justin has garnered one win in his ASCRL career, coming at Jennerstown in Season 6, when this team was only part time. Look out for Justin to possibly make his way out of the midpack this year.
    Richard Brown Safelite #28.png
Richard Brown has a full-time sponsor this season, Safelite Auto Glass. After struggling to find sponsorship last season, Richard made his way through, garnering a few top 10's throughout the year, Safelite was impressed and signed on after doing the first race last year. Watch out because this 24 year old is coming strong this season!

After a short hiatus, here's some more!
Sanchez Autosport, as mentioned earlier, lost Peter Sanchez during the off season, but they have found a new rookie to replace him.
    Carlos Ramirez Arris #54.png
Meet Carlos Ramirez, he is the nephew of the owner of Sanchez Autosport, Arris will sponsor him, as they did Peter Sanchez before. Carlos has a lot to prove, in sub par equipment. We'll have to wait and see if he's really good, or just a Uncle's boy.

    Craig Henderson Unsponsored #6.png
Craig Henderson is a local short track racer that is not the most well known. He stepped into the realm of the DirecTV Cup last season, doing several races for several different part time cars, this car was one of them. Craig finished 15th at Charlotte in this car, and the team picked him up. He doesn't have any sponsorship as of now, but we'll just have to hope they find some.

    Brandon Baker SportClips #21.png
Remember how earlier we mentioned that SportClips left the #5 car for a new team, well, meet the brand new team SportClips Racing. Brandon Baker, a youngster who's made his name known in recent years, mostly with Hall Family Racing in their second car(more on them later). He was signed and will drive the #21 SportClips Chevy, with an alliance with Byers Motorsports. He has all the odds in his favor to have a strong season, with a top 5 not looking out of reach.

    Next up, Hall Family Racing!
    Brandon Hall Rheem #4.png
Brandon Hall is a 18 year old rookie driving for his fathers team. Rheem will sponsor him, like they did with Brandon Baker last season. Brandon Hall is no daddy's boy, he earned his way to drive for this team. Winning several championships in several different types of stock car.
    Tim Hall Duracell #9.png
    Tim Hall Knauf #9.png
    Tim Hall Libman #9.png
    Tim Hall NIBCO #9.png
Tim Hall Richmond #9.png Tim Hall Valvoline #9.png
Here is the father figure, Tim Hall. Tim is 44 years old, and is still going strong. Menard's will sponsor him like they have since he entered this series, with various companies being associates.
UPDATE: There are 32 full time cars, we are halfway there at 16! Hope to have this done within the next 2 weeks!

Overall there will be probably around 50 including part timers. Paint scheme wise, I have no clue. Maybe 70-80.
