The Apex Racing Sportsman Series is a hybrid online/offline league run using the racing simulator NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. This league exists on a floating timeline concurrent with the TM Master Cup Series canon universe, wherein NASCAR does not exist. The premise is that this is a Sportsman league held by Apex Racing School that uses old and out-of-use backup cars from TM Lights, FARC, and ASCC. Human players will mix it up with AI characters across a variety of ovals and road courses in what may be the first league of its kind.
This league is being hosted by ErnhrtFanRacing, which is a group of sim-racers and racing enthusiasts who have been in each other’s company for over a decade. This league is open invitation, and drivers of all backgrounds are welcome!
We will be holding two races a week, split between Sunday and Monday nights, with qualifying being held at 7:30 PM EST. Races are expected to last 30 to 45 minutes. We use the Cup90 mod (CTS physics), and entrants may paint their own cars (we mandate templates), request a paintjob, or pick premade cars from previous Cup90 TM canon carset releases.
