alternative for winmip2

okay so i try to use winmip2 to put a custom paint but when i try to open the .car file the car itself won't open so i think it might being broken so here's the question

can anyone suggest me an alternative to winmip2

Only other way I know of is in the game itself, creating a new car and import your paint to it.

Not at all trying to sound mean, but are you sure you are using winmip correctly? A lot of people think you select "file" then "open" to open a car file, but really you must use the car file editor. Also there are some instances where winmip cannot open certain car files. Have you tried opening other files to see if they will work?

Yes good point, make sure you're using "Car File Editor" to open the files. Not File, Open. As also mentioned, I usually just use the in-game import option so that's a viable alternative.
