Hello, Stunod community!

I am that same internet-savvy guy who has a love for motorsports and creativity. My name is in no way associated with Steam, as much as you might think it is. My nickname stems from two main properties about myself. One is my love for steam trains and the other comes from my career of interest (software development). Putting together the words "Steam" and "Dev" with a random "s" in between for good measure, I came up with my screen name, "SteamsDev," and I never considered any other options up to this point.

I started working with NR2003 back when I was around 13 years old and got my first ever personal computer - a Dell Latitude E4310 from 2010. Its specs were pretty good for a low-end PC: Intel i5 2nd-Gen processor with 2.53GHz CPU speed, 2GB RAM (which I expanded to 4GB), 250 GB HDD (which was replaced later with a 240GB SSD), and it came with Windows 7 Pro out of the box. After getting NR2003, I began to mess around with different mods, including my favorite mod at the time I'm making this post, Gen6BR15 from the Bullring. After making some cars for a few of my friends just for fun, a lot of my classmates asked if I could make some for them, and soon I began racing them on different tracks like Charlotte and Daytona along with other fictional cars. What came from it was my first private racing league which I did with my friends and others at the school, which still persists today as the Racing Series of the North. I have decided not to make it public since there were some names in there who're under the age of 18, but it really became something I never imagined it would be at the time. Sometimes Lady Luck is sweet, I guess.

Anyway, early in my NR2003 days the initial hard drive I was working with burnt to a crisp, and the files are stuck in there without any way of fetching them. I migrated to a new hard disk but that didn't last for much longer, and I finally settled on an SSD from SanDisk. During this time I rushed through a bunch of different operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 10, and Ubuntu, and always feeling like I had to migrate things such as cars, sounds, and worst of all, replays. After getting my second personal computer (a Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700) The Latitude became a stationary computer that I used for NR2003 mostly. I graduated from high school just last year and am beginning to wrap up my first year of college. I now have a third device (a Surface Book) and am deliberating what I want to do next with my series, since my Latitude is once again suffering because of overheating issues and my Lenovo has disturbingly low specs (Intel m5-6Y54, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro in-box, Linux Mint currently). It goes without saying though that I have grown to enjoy the NR2003 community and haven't looked back since.

Anyway, that's my story. I'll be sure to show you some of my work whenever I get the chance. Thanks for letting me be a part of the community! Take care of yourselves!
