A Yahoo! Store Custom Price Line!

Here is yet another tutorial for your Yahoo! Store. This tutorial will show you how to put in a custom text line right before your price that is show in your store. Its just a matter of adding on line of text into a RTML template!

This is only for the Yahoo! Store Editor V3.

You also must know how to edit RTML for this tutorial.

1. Which Template To Edit

Login into your store manager >> Store Editor >>

On the store editor tools is a red arrow on the right to open the "Advanced Editor". Once the second line of options show up if not already click on the "templates" or "storetemplates" button.

If you clicked on "storetemplates" then we you get to the next page you will have to click on the "templates" button on the top of the page to show you all of your store templates.

Now we are looking for the "price template".

2. What and Where

Now that we know what template to edit and and the code we are going to start by clicking on the "new" button up top and adding a TEXT complex. Select TEXT and click create. Now click on the "DIV" on the very bottom of the template and paste the TEXT complex within the DIV by clicking "Paste Within" on the top. After you have the TEXT complex showing below the DIV click on the TEXT complex and click on the edit button up top. Now I have "Your Price: " in the field but you may put anything your little heart desires, but It must be surrounds by quotes. example "Your Price: ". Use the image below for reference.

We are done! Please keep in mind that this will not affect the prices that show with you have an item all sale!

I hope you have successfully added this feature to your Yahoo! store. I no longer practice this code and this is a unmaintained tutorial. Use at your own risk. I worked hard on figuring out this code many years ago and didn't want these tutorials to go to waste.
