No.
A Mod:
A 1940s style fastback like a Ford Tudor, but with a 1970s aero wing sprouting up from the rear wheel arches, and with an early 1990s Supercars front air dam.
Then I want the car company to build the car to go along with the mod.

A Track:
11 foot 8

A Thing:
Localised yellows

No.
A Mod:
Blimps.

Have a track which is see through, then have what appears to be floating markers and ropes for the walls.
Then drop the "floor" of the track so that it looks like you're flying.

OH THE HUMANITY!

WE WANT HINDENBURGS EVERY DAY!

Okay, so this one has been on my mind for YEARS - an SS.net pit box edit for the original pit boxes.
I love the SS.net warwagon. No doubt about it.
But it just... does not look great on the default 2003 pit box template, which I always paint with exclusively.

Specifically on the upper banner part. I know the banner is basically the main quirk of this entire mod, but it looks horrid with that original pit box.

Also notice how the top of the box is always given this ugly salmon pink, which is (I think) caused by the gas can or the air wrench on the pit crew texture. Both of these errors stick out like a sore thumb.
Not a good look.

So I came up with a very basic concept, and one that could probably be pulled off pretty easily given the right 3DO knowledge:
Replace the banner with the original "desk" from the 2003 pit box.

I made a few crappy concepts here just to get my point across (sorry for the Photoshop quality... lol)

...or, at this point, I'll take just about any fix for it. Anything that won't require me to keep using Warwagon 2.5 any time I want a detailed pit lane. Lol

@Roaddog Why not remove the monitors from the pitcrew flat?

While you like the SS.net pitbox, teams didn't use canopies on pitroad during 2003 IIRC.
Y'know... I didn't even consider replacing the entire top with the original one but keeping the pit sign. That's a way better idea than what I had in mind lol

@Roaddog you can stll use the SS.net pit mod if you want, just edit the template to remove the monitors.

a mod: modern GT cars. McLarens, Mercedes, etc. figure out fictional body shapes that can represent multiple makes, like one for the ferrari/mclaren style supercars, one for the more sedan-shaped ones like BMW and Bentley, a couple of coupes. Physics mod won't be difficult to make (I'll dive right into that if anyone ever makes this), plus this could lead to some very interesting fictional carsets for oval racing too. (I wouldn't mind an SUV mod or a prototype mod either, I'd do some good physics things with those too)
a track: I'm poking at a few track projects of my own, the only one I want that's definitely beyond me is a modern Road Atlanta, we've got a couple Road Atlantas but none representing the track after they put in the chicane in 1998. Spa's also outdated but not as badly.
a thing: an expansion to nratings to add other series. I just manually rated a Hooters Pro Cup set I had that wasn't rated, and it was such a pain to do manually.

No track or mod, but one big thing I would REALLY like is menu sounds from NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup for NR2003. That would be REALLY cool!

Mod: NASCAR Modified-Sportsman Series ('37 Chevy Coupe, '49 Ford Coupe, '58 Ford Edsel, '61 Chevy Impala (wouldn't be a "year-specific" mod but more of a mod commemorating the more prominent cars of this division))
Track: Memphis-Arkansas Speedway
Thing: Spotter from Nascar Legends

I think a cool track to have is the Adelaide International Raceway Oval course run back in the 90's. Would make a nice counterpart to the Thunderdome. I might have to finally break down and try my hand at NR2003 track making.
