No.
If Max Verstappen wins the 2021 Formula One World Championship, then does this mean that Lewis Hamilton's path the breaking the 7x ceiling becomes ever more difficult.

It requires a very specific set of circumstance for someone to be 7x. They need both longevity and repeated excellence.

9x Loeb
8x Agostini
7x Petty, Earnhardt, Johnson, Schumacher, Hamilton, Ogier, Whincup, Rossi, Nieto

Really with the exception of Márquez, I don't seen anyone joining the 7x ranks for a while.

Some of the best racing happens out of the public eye. I've seen some great racing action in series most have never hear of or just local guys see who has the biggest pair at the local dirt track.

I agree, Many Years ago at our local half mile.. they had a 200 lap feature that was paying some big $$$... anyway, Jody Ridley(1980 NASCAR Rookie), blow a tire and almost went 2 laps down around lap 100... The last 100 laps went caution free, not only did he un-lap himself, he won.. Took lead with about 5 laps to go...

To this day, still one of the darndest things I've ever seen - Like Bill at Talladega(I was there for that too) . :)

7x results since the Kings left:

43 - 3 wins
3 - 3 wins
48 - 5 wins
the 43 car since petty left has been mid pack (from what i remember)
the 3 hasnt had a good driver either i get why austins in the 3 but he isnt the right guy to carry on the legacy of the number
and for the 48, when bowman gets fitted into that role i think that he'll do good with it, i dont see him winning more that 2 championships but i think he'll get it done every once in a while

No, Petty hasn't been that smart, they had a driver that could win, proved he can win, gave Red Bull their only Cup win. If they kept that driver they may have had a Cup or two.
