I guess this means we will be seeing this car on track next season at some point.

It looks to me kinda like a hybrid of Junior's 2016 and 2017 schemes. Only thing missing is the blue NASCAR logo style type stripes that were on the 2017 car.

This was on the Hendrick Motorsports site:

I find it odd that there's no white in the scheme but yet they made it the major secondary color in the firesuit after the yellow.

And did they change the rear of the cars for 2019? The rear kinda looks like a mixture of the 2018 Superspeedway and Speedway packages.

Just watched the Alex Bowman #88 paint scheme reveal (which was shown on Twitter a week ago) I said in the chat that "I knew 100 folks in the sim racing community that could design a better scheme"...

And I do

Like I said, it reminds me a lot of Dale Jr.'s car from last year minus the blue stripe on the side that somewhat resembled the NASCAR logo design.

To me there was nothing wrong with his 2018 scheme and I would've like to see some variation of it if they were going to make a change.

It's like they never had an idea to make something special happen

Well is doesn't help that there's hardly any contigs on these cars anymore. I remember Bowman saying he liked a white car and that's why they went with it. He referenced the Coke 600 car he drove. Thing was on it had stars in the white that it wasn't just a big section of white.

When I think of a white race car I think of unsponsored teams of the past and that's a little bit of what this car looks like to me
