Ok , great track, but the AI cars run 200 plus in corners and run wide open all around the track , how do i change this to let the AI cars run normal speeds?
Thanks

There is a thread here someplace about the track made by the track maker, he's happy with the way the track races, all I can tell you to do without changing the ini file is to lower the A.I. strength.

Note: Doing the following will invalidate your track if you race online with the server running the original version of the track.

To lower the speeds you'll have to open up the track.ini inside the track folder. Look for the following lines:

track_asphalt_grip = 1.01 ; > 1.0 means more grip. This shouldn't have to change by more than +- 0.05
track_concrete_grip = 1.093 ; > means more grip. Again, keep between about 0.9 and 1.05
track_paint_grip = 1.22

Plugging in the values above should get you started. If you still need a tweak, it's best to play around with the values yourself to get a feel for how much of an affect a change has on the overall track speed.

Ok thanks, I maybe one, but i never played with the .ini files, except for the graphics. and first time i have seen this from tracks i have added, where the AI cars with new track just are on rails all around the track? now on some i have had to adjust the speed low as 49 on some tracks just to keep up and they don't give you a default setup that keeps up with them? the way i have fixed this is to copy the original track .ini and put it in the new track and i can keep my ai speed at 95 to 98 and race just fine without lowering it,
appreciate the help and i will look into it.
