Hey @SteveMack I too had the same issue a few years back and took some of the existing night sky textures and spend a lot of time editing them to my liking. I can send them to you if you'd like. Not perfect by any means, but a little more exciting than just a pitch black sky.

I had that exact idea of a red and black grid type track and cars. I'd love to see that. I made my late model car with a red grid and it looks pretty awesome. The guys in my league said it's cool but they also don't like it because they can't see it very well.
