It's finally here! 58 years too late, but somehow, right on time. Racing was different in 1962. Beating and banging and going for broke was the style of the day. Driving a Pontiac Catalina, Fireball Roberts would own Daytona. Starting with a dominant Speedweeks and a Daytona 500 won from the pole, Roberts would claim victory again at Daytona in the Firecracker 250. Pontiac had their best season ever that year. Bristol, Richmond, Charlotte...Pontiacs would grab a total of 22 wins, 30 poles, and punctuate the season with a Championship won by Joe Weatherly. Drivers seemed to race like every lap was the last one back then and "Little Joe" was no exception.
So tighten your safety belt, hang on to that wheel and welcome to 1962!
This set wouldn't be possible without King D.A. & BlackWidow Motorsports who did all the heavy lifting in creating the GN63 mod.
