Martin Truex Jr. - Stewart-Haas Racing

No surprise here, but Truex Jr has had a very successful career thanks to Joe Gibbs and Furniture Row. In 2017 he made the final four. He also made the final four in 2019 and 2020. Though he didn't win the championship in either of those. If it weren't for getting spun with 5 to go in 2020 he would've won the champioship that year. He's put up great numbers, especially in the win column. But come 2022, after being one of the more dominate drivers, he was yet to even place runner-up. So with the announcement of Clint Bowyer's retirement finally Truex Jr. made a career decision choice. He would be leaving the stable that put him on the map, for Stewart-Haas Racing in hopes of winning a championship there. He's even in the main car. When the 2022 Daytona is ran he'll be 41, so there are speculations he won't be in the sport for too much longer. Perhaps he realized that and made this choice in hopes of going out with at least one championship?

Jeffrey Earnhardt - Shepherd Ventures Racing

Jeffrey has had what you could call a rough NASCAR upbringing. 2017 was bland for him, he did nothing, his name was rarely mentioned. In 2018 he ran the full season with BK Racing. Placing a career best of fifth at the Daytona 500, fifth again at Talladega, and believe it or not at Bristol he pulled of a 15th. This was good for him because if he didn't do well Can-Am told him they'd reconsider. In 2019 he got a ride with Chip Ganassi. This didn't help his career though as they were struggling as well as him. On a good day they'd get a top 20, but it was mostly 25-20s for them. In 2020 he never raced FT, did some races with Can-Am on Obaika Racing and Mike Harmon Racing. He did get to race with his fathers team at Bristol though, leading 5 laps and finishing 8th. In 2021 he got a FT ride with Shepherd Ventures Racing in the #89. In the NXS of course. He finished 23rd in the points but gave the #89 some of the best runs it had seen up to that point. But because of Can-Am's funding Shepherd Ventures Racing brought their program up to cup with Jeffrey Earnhardt as the lead driver. They'll be battling it out with Premium Motorsports most likely to decide who makes races.

Landon Cassill - Roush-Fenway Racing

Up until 2021, Landon Cassill raced for Front Row Motorsports. He really helped develop the team. He got his first career win with them, at Bristol in 2021. His best points run with FRR was in 2021 as well, where he finished 16th. But during the 2022 silly season it was announced that Landon Cassill wouldn't be returning to the team. Nobody knew where he'd go because this next decision was quite unexpected. Ricky Stenhouse Jr, who never won a cup race, wanted to retire with Danica after 2022, and do that on top, so he dropped down to the NXS. So RFR gave Landon Cassill a one year test contract to drive the #17.

John Hunter Nemechek - Richard Childress Racing

Ever since they lost Austin Dillon and Ryan Newman they have been on crazy rebuild mode since they've been falling off the map. They have 4 young drivers. One of which is John Hunter Nemechek. He raced in the truck series until 2018. In 2017 he won 2 more races and finished 4th. That was good enough for RCR to give him a NXS contract. Where he finished 9th, 5th, and 3rd respectively in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2021 he made his move up to the cup series. Not replacing anybody though, this was a brand new car they were adding. Which was surprising because in 2020 they didn't do well at all so this would've been crazy pricey and risky on the team. But it paid off, JH Nemechek was the only one on the fleet of 4 to make the chase and he won a race. Coming into 2022 he has hopes to make the chase again.

Ya you're doing a great job and I love how detailed you are with your predictions! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! It really does mean a lot :)

Idk what to think about the Penske's. I guess I'll let you all decide. I've never been great at doing their signature design, but I'm attempting it for this carset. So we'll see, hoping it doesn't turn out bad! *Fingers crossed*

Ryan Blaney - Penske Racing

Render: Andy1
Ryan Blaney never left cup after his debut in 2016. But he did stick with Wood Brothers until 2020 because Penske wasn't willing to open a third car under their name until then. He got one win at Talladega with Wood Brothers in 2018 and only made the chase that year. Come 2020 Penske opened up the #12, as they finally had solid sponsorship from Target willing to take on Blaney and they felt Blaney was finally ready. He never got a win in 2020 or 2021. But come 2022 this is the year where he is expected to win another race. He's a talented driver on a top team who hasn't won in almost 4 years. He'll be trying hard for that second career win.

Chase Briscoe - Penske Racing

Temp: Bill1947

Render: Andy1
In 2017 Chase Briscoe made his truck series debut with BKR. He set records in ARCA and was no-doubt going to be a threat. He won 3 races and the championship. There was no big surprise there. In 2018 he made his move up to the NXS, where he won 2 races for Penske but was the runner-up for the championship. In 2019 he went back to the NXS and won the championship along with 4 wins. 2020 was the year he made his cup debut, replacing Ryan Blaney at Wood Brothers. Where he got them a win, and it wasn't at a super speedway. Their first non-super speedway win in the longest time. He only managed to come 13th in the points. Penske knew they had a future champion on their hands. So with sponsorship from Briscoe's long time ARCA sponsor Big Tine they opened a fourth team for the first time in their NASCAR career. 2021 they debuted the car, and he won 2 races. He beat out Joey Logano in the overall standings. This year he is expected to have one hell of a year. He's gained a lot of fans throughout his journey and he really wants to impress them.

Brad Keselowski - Penske Racing

Big Bad Brad is still one of the top drivers in the series right now. Since 2017 he's made the final four 3/5 times and won the championship in 2020. He's went on to win multiple more times and has stayed loyal to Team Penske. They seem to only get better and better and is once again expected to make the final four in 2022. They've also done their fans something they've wanted and brought back the Blue Deuce.

Joey Logano - Penske Racing

Like his longtime teammate, Joey Logano hasn't planned or gone anywhere. He's stayed with Penske. The only difference is he is still championshipless. But has made the final four twice more after 2016. He's always seemed to be in the shadow of Brad Keselowski after 2016. Coming into 2022 it is not known what should be expected of Joey. Due to some bad luck he finished 8th in the points in 2021, even being beat by his teammate Chase Briscoe. Fans of his hope he'll be able to get back on championship contending track, and most people expect him to. Especially with new sponsorship from Whataburger to impess.

I've been getting a lot of dislikes lately but I'll keep the schemes coming!

Kyle Busch - Joe Gibbs Racing

Kyle Busch has still stayed an amazing driver throughout the years. Winning at least one race every year and making it at least past the first round every year. He never won another championship, only coming runner-up one more time. But after 2021 he is no longer looked at as the top Toyota driver and he is hungry to prove himself to be the top driver once more. With new FT sponsorship from SiriusXM look out for Rowdy in 2022 to be a major contender.

Alex Bowman - JR Motorsports

Base: Me
Temps: Bullring

Render: CraigMartin
Alex Bowman never left Dale Jr's side after he got to replace him in 2016. Throughout 2017 Alex Bowman occasionally ran the #88 JR Motorsports car in the NXS and the #00 in the NCWTS for JR. In 2018 he raced his first FT season with JRM in the truck series where he did great. Finishing 4th. Then in 2019 he made his move to the NXS replacing Michael Annett at JRM. He almost won the championship there. Come 2020 he moved to cup FT with JRM in their first cup season. He ran mediocre all year with a best finish of 5th at Kansas. In 2021 he definitely stepped up his game, but still never made the chase. While JRM definitely isn't the best team on the grid, in 2022 Alex Bowman is at least expected to put up a hard-fought fight to make it in.

Daniel Hemric - JTG Daughtery Racing

The story of Hemric has been a bit of a crazy tale. In 2017 Hemric ran his first NXS, and didn't make it to the expectations given to him. He made the chase, but only finished 8th. This warranted him dropping down to the truck series again in 2018, where he ran with the RCR truck spin-off team Gaughan Racing. He finished 2nd, giving the team 2 wins and one hell of a debut season. In 2019 he was back up to the NXS, where he ran much better, even picking up a road course win, and finishing the season 4th. Come 2020 originally he planned on staying with the RCR Xfinity program, but Chris Buescher moved ships from JTG in 2020 and since they were still partnered with RCR he got called up to race for them. In his first season he obliterated expectations, in a bad way. Barely clipping 24th overall. This confirmed NASCAR theorists that he moved up too early (and was apart of the Illuminati). 2021 wasn't too much better, but with more consistency which warranted him a 20th overall finished. He comes in to 2022 hoping to make a run for the chase, but it isn't expected at all.

Before I looked at the number or sponsor i thought it was going to be a Daniel Hemric cup car.
