Seriously I'd love to see a 1979 mod. You can get away with it pretty well because it was mostly 442s and Montes. Add the Torinos and Mercs and you could fudge the rest with templates. How could such a pivotal year not be covered yet? Sure I could try to get Heat going with all its 70's mods but for some reason I can't get past the wheel setup screen so I can't run it and that Stock Car Resurrection only runs on RFactor 2 which runs like crap on my old computer. If I never see a mid-late 70's mod for NR2003 it's no tragedy, I've been spoiled enough by all the amazing work put out so far.

I know I've posted here before, but the mods I really wanted to see (early 2000s and late 90s cup mods) have both come out. I've really been getting into F1 and Formula E, so those mods would be cool. Especially formula E, because the cars are very unique and even if not a lot of realistic cars get painted for it, I can see it being a popular league mod.

Other than that I have always wanted to see an IROC mod that had multiple car versions that reproduces multiple car variants used over the years. I always thought it was kind of a waste to only have one car model in there (though I completely understand it makes the mod maker's job much easier, so I don't blame at all). So far we have the late 80s Camero and the late 90s/2000s Firebird, so probably a mod with 70s camero/early 90s avenger/porche models. I feel like I'm missing something to put in as the 4th model...

Splash 'N' Go's Cup98 mod is a great mod for sure, and while their Cup03 mod DOES look a hell of a lot better than default cup (see video preview), last I heard it wasn't out yet unless there's something I missed not on their website or Facebook.

Makes me wonder if someone's gonna recreate the Papy fantasy cars that came with the game and original Cup for grins and giggles.

While Formula E would look cool, I don't see it happening, even if we did retexture the giant Sunoco cans into a giant plug-in Duracell. Don't they straight up switch cars when their power gets low or something else bad happens?

Again, 98% of the stuff you're looking for in a sim that only has four physics packages is all in rFactor, it goes on sale every quarter on Steam for under $7 or nose around some of the dirt links in the rFactor link thread and see what you can find.

I was referring to the Cup98 and Cup2000 mods, though I admit I am excited to see the Cup03 and Cup05 mods.

This year the cars have enough power that they don't have to switch half way through. In fact they don't normally do pit stops at all anymore.

Splash 'N' Go's Cup03-05 - Super Speedway Edition! The SuperSpeedway races of this era were iconic and these cars had an entirely different vibe when you watched them on the track. Love all the different mods that have developed over the years, but this is one that has hung around without being finished and interest has never really faded. The new SNGG 03-05 mod is so incredible, to have a SS edition would just be dream status. It'd be the only thing I'd race.

IMCA Stock Car/Asphalt Street Stock mod using GNS/CTS physics. I think it would be a fairly easy mod to make as far as the car models, and it wouldn't be hard to find some decent pictures of cars. In fact i have 5 right here and if you want to make multiple bodies, you could pretty much go with 1980's monte, 1990's/Early 2000's then 2010's and have the camaro front end since that's getting somewhat popular. I would love to see this but I don't have a lot of ideas on how to even start with making mods let alone doing the car modeling.IMG_3453.JPGIMG_3455.JPGIMG_3457.JPGIMG_3458.JPGIMG_3460.JPG

Lunar Rovers.

Neat concept.

On the moon.

There's actually some moon track out there somewhere, some medium-quality reskin of Daytona Night called "Zombies Spaceport" or something. Back when Dogecoin was a popular meme/cryptocurrency with a whole "to the moon!" thing going on I wanted to convert it to a Dogecoin themed track but I didn't know jack about working with Sandbox. Still don't know a thing about it.

So far, about 60 miles have been driven on the moon.

So far.
