I guess with my GIMP issues I'll just use PSP, and uninstall and reinstall the demo whenever my "trial" runs out. Doing this I can use PSP for free. (Although you have to reset everything every 30 days)

*Edit* Apperently it does not work, and GIMP wont save the card.jpg. I may not be able to paint for this mod

I found a workaround for the GIMP issue!
You save as card.png, delete card.jpg then rename card.png to card.jpg, therefore allowing you to use GIMP to paint cars!

I've tried this and it works, so by using a few extra steps, GIMP users can paint for this mod too

@DaleTona sounds like you have an issue with the .jpeg plug in. I can use GIMP for the mod just fine. Try reinstalling GIMP.

I really don't know. Italo doesnt want to do shading, lol. I'm sure someone will get to it once I get the final models done.

Anyone want to team up on a 2017 car set? We'd have to wait for Daytona, but I'd be willing to do JGR, Furniture Row and Roush

Considering the layout of this mod's templates is scheduled to change, you may wanna hold off on that as there's no clear indication when they'll be implemented [before or after Daytona].

Ah, 10-4 thanks for the heads up. I figured the Camry would change but that would be about it.

Yes I agree this is premature...Be a lamb and wait a bit for the completed mod so the painters aren't burned by a mid-project change...The templates are promised to change...

Damn! a huge thank you for this mod! I never painted one car on previous sprint cup mod for one reason only....(the wire frame and shading layers were combined!!, and the wires were completely off from left to right sides of the car). As a 50 year old painter my eyes need the wire frame on a layer itself lol, and personally I'm a painter that uses the wires as a line up tool from side to side. I've downloaded the files above and they look great, but I'll hold off on painting anything until some final versions with a shading layer. Again thank you and i can't wait.
