No.
Could not load the track from the disk.
No specific reason was given for the failure.

Er... okay.

Delete Sandbox.

Reinstall sandbox.

Could not load the track from the disk.
No specific reason was given for the failure.

But I created the track in Sandbox? How am I supposed to save anything if you won't let me save and open it again?

There's only one guy who really understands the box and he's taking a break right now. You may get lucky and he comes and see this and has an answer for you.

That comment is a real slap in the face to J.R. Franklin and The Project: Short Track Development Team,
Wayne Anderson, Ian Smythe, Carl Sundberg and Ben Althen, and all the other great track makers out there.

I think Tigg was saying "the only one who really understands the box..." and regularly posts in our threads, no slight was intended...

You said you created the track in Sandbox. What exactly did you add to it? Any specific objects? Did you create track segments?
It could just be that it didn't actually save correctly. So no matter what you do it won't open.

I've laid out an entire track sometimes only it have the save get immediately corrupted. I've found sometimes that if you don't close the track loop it doesn't save correctly. I don't know the particular reason though.

No.
It happens that after I've tied up the loose ends, laid down all possible sections that I can think of, placed TSOs for the flaggers, I can save it and run a track in driving mode and it will all look fine.
For some absurd reason though, that error keeps on coming up; which means that I can't go in to see why it won't open again.

Does it work before placing the Flagger TSOs?

When you say Driving Mode are you just referring to the sandbox camera? Or in-game NR2003?

No.
I have been able to repoen files if there are no TSOs. That's not helpful if you then want to move on.

Aye, Driving Mode is in Sandbox. Generally if you can run that, it'll run in-game. If you can't even open it in Sandbox, you've got no hope at all in-game and you get a "Could Not Load Track" message.

I've never ever had an issue with the Camera in Sandbox and I would not base the functionality of the track based on that feature.

Send me your track in PM and I should be able to figure it out. It's likely missing something.

I think we got this figured out. I don't know specifically what the issue was, but I speculate it was missing shared folder objects, or disorganization of the track folder maybe causing confusion.

Sounds like flag mips, the series flagger mip, and the stop/go sign mips weren't copied over.

Easier to pick up what you're missing if you have 3dsimed, so you don't have to copy the entire shared folder contents in.
