well that was easy, I can only imagine what it is like to be you everytime you open a track and see all the issues...and then you have to fix them, it's never ending I'd bet...

Who knows who actually make this or most of these tracks, they've been converted so many times from so many sims it's a shame that so many so called track builders just redo the same ovals over and over again instead of researching these ill made road courses and making a correct version. John, you know I'm not talking about you.

Well, considering the most content I see are modern cars, and very few for "retro" mods outside of the first few month's, people just care more about running the current cup stuff.

I think Cleveland is an Indycar Racing II conversion.

I like racing too, I'm just not that good at it, LOL!

Yeah but with most Sims you can adjust the AI to suit your skill level. Easiest way I find to calibrate your personal level is to have a field of 30 or more cars and start at the back. Then run for 15 - 20 laps. If you can finish the race in the middle of the pack, then you will do OK when you go to race with an included Qualifying Session as you should qualify around the middle or better. Then you can tweak the cars setup to get more out of it.

The problem I've found with the modded Sims is that the AI can be inconsistent from track to track and mod to mod so you will have to adjust the AI level unless your racing in a League against others. I say League because it keeps the crashers and bashers out and makes for some fun racing.

Oh, I know, I'd rather race on-line, that way I know I just can't punt the car out of my way, LOL!

Depending on the Sim if you set the Damage Level to realistic you'll only do it once or twice before your vehicle starts feeling the effects of the damage. I can remember the old Gran Turismo series on the PS2. You could bash your way from the rear to the front no problem. The Real Driving Simulator my arse.
