IF I choose to open up the EXE (Which I don't have the knowledge to do so) The only thing I'm breaking is the EULA.

Who ever deleted his post made it sound like there was an NR2005 sim, not mod, but actual sim. So what I said has all the merit it needs. If you tell me something was released then pulled and released using the original exe, then that tells me and everyone it was a "hacked" exe and there for illegal. Maybe I'm to cut and dry for you guys to understand, I don't play in the grey area, everything is black and white.
By the way the EULA is a legal document you're signing by clicking "I Agree", so the issuer of the EULA has the right to pursue legal action if they so desire. Again, it's all black and white, no grey what so ever.

I must be one of the few that ain't crazy about the digital dash. I'm an analog/gauges kinda guy.Welp. JJ loves pheesacs.
On the mod side, I would love to see a 2018 NASCAR mod with a real digital dashboard. It would be a dream come through.

The new Street Stock mod coming out should allow me to get half of these done, given the Camaro that's coming with it.

See once again I don't really want to pick at what happened with BR , because maybe I should just ask BR himself and see if he is willing to even talk about it.
You say you know 14 people who got in trouble if my math is right.
I know GTP guys got in trouble ( making standalone of 2003 early on )
I know BR got a warning for his NR5. (frankly making a standalone of 2003 game in 2005)
I know a guy who went to court from PRC website.
All that 10+ years ago.
Before I completely believe that piles of people are going under the press for messing with EXE I would need to know specific examples.

Yea they already ported one for GTA San Andreas apparently and GTA 4. I bet you can just "snatch" the 3d model and

I lived in a post Soviet country for over 3 years, and all I saw were a bunch of Zhigulis, and a couple of Volgas. You were really high on the horse if you had a Volga. I heard about the Moskvich, but I don't remember a running example. I could be mistaken. I heard plenty about the Zaporozhets, but I didn't see many still running. This was in the 2005-2010 years though.
As far as the mod I'd like to see, that's simple. A mid 1970s mod! I think 1977 would be the year I would want most.
