That's very cool!! Wouldn't mind creating something like that for Heat..

I've spent the last night, creating some cool scripts for 3dsmax, to automate the rendering process of stuff, to make everything pretty much automatic. :) When I get bored with modeling, I like to program things, to tinker with for myself. :)

If my memory is working correctly, I think Rogue made originals.
I don't think so. Here is the readme for the original truck scene that was made. I don't have the readme for the original cup cars but they were certainly not made by Rogue. These guys were way ahead of our time.View attachment 2673 View attachment 2673

Kool Art Trucks - 3DSMax v.5 (no plans for other versions)

Modified 3DSMax files by MrExcite
Original 3DSMax files by Project WildFire
All truck files and textures by Project WildFire
Wheel models by CBC-Tech
Wheel textures by Jeff Yost

" When you want to place your truck paint into a model, choose the material bubble for that make of "toon", select carpaint, and choose the diffuse slot map
and find your paint job by choosing, under "bitmap parameters", "bitmap", "yout file location"

Have fun with the toons, make sure you send a note of thanks over to Project WildFire, and also to MG Motorsports.

Janimox and CBCTech made the original Toon scenes for NR3 or 4. I cant remember exactly. I worked the tire/wheel textures with Jeff Yost for CBC's wheels. Jeff even had a better version of wheels he released a little later.

MrExcite did the GNS and CTS models after PWF released them...

Definitely some cool stuff going on back in those days.

Now I feel old!!!
