Anyone have some tips & tricks to make a large car pack? I made 40 schemes, and I'm unsure the best way to go about putting them into .car files. I've used WinMip, but oh my that'd be taxing to do each car file like that, and then have to rename the driver, and number, and ehhhhhhh. Send help please.

That's the way it is done unfortunately...but it's part of the fun of making a carset....you did do the pit crews right?

No, I just made 40 schemes. Didn't bother making race suits for each of them either, just because the overall hassle of that, for what the pack is. The premise is Monster Energy Supercross on the MENCS18 Mod.

sadly the game doesn't operate that way. the only way the game let's you is via opponent manager, unless someone has found a way around that...….

If you make a car set with winmip2, not only will you have to import the car paint, but you will also have to correct several lines of text also, otherwise they won't show up. The 4 car models have a set car class number depending on the physice you want the set to be, if that number isn't correct, they won't show.
Best way is to make a new driver "ingame" (opponent manager) for each of your flats. You'll be able to choose the car make you want for that paint scheme, and you will also have to fill out the driver info. there's no easy way to do this.

I wish there was a better way lol. It's not really a difficult task, just a little bit time consuming. There's no way to avoid it. What I do is import each one after I finish painting it so I don't have to import a bunch in a row.

Oof. Tbh, I'll probably hold off a bit to do it then lmao. I'm hella lazy and don't feel like grinding out all 40 of them.

Update on the situation: Winmip is throwing me a bunch of errors when I import a different car texture, and then go to save the file. Any ideas?

Errors:
Error in BmpToTyp10
Error in Typ10Sublm
Error in N4MipSave
