I know this is off the beaten path, but how about we go template making, NASCAR HEAT STYLE!
Heat_Toyota_Front.png

Heat_Toyota_Rear.png

Here is the finished Toyota Template. The Toyota parts were taken from RSJR's Toyota, and pasted onto the NASCAR Heat cup bodystyle.
What do you think?

More Heat Content! Here are the rest of the manufactures.

Parts taken from BCR, Team SBR, Zone15, and Brian Simpson respectively.
The reason I'm making these templates myself is that the site that had them, BH motorsports had long been down.
Now I can get to work on actual paint schemes.
Feel free to ask questions and give opinions!

I have had not much to showcase as of recent, so here is a trip through memory lane, and the evolution of my painting skills.
NOTE: THERE ARE NOT CREDITS AS MOST OF THESE ARE A YEAR OLD OR SO!

12/30/2015 This is as far back as I have on my HD, this is what my cars looked like 2 years ago
9_Kasey_Kahne_1.jpg

1/30/2016 Here is an early Gen6 car, originally made for my brother.
23_Dave_Blaney.jpg

2/27/16 This is when I first dabbled into the Cup2000 mod.
16_Kevin_Lepage_White.jpg

3/4/16 This was for a short lived series similar to ARCA or the Goody's dash series.
2_Dusty_Loggins.jpg

3/20/06 Yet another gen 6. This one made use of flame images obtained off google
83_Borla.jpg

3/22/16 First Drabbles into one of my other favorite mods, NNC07, this is one of the better cars I created at this time.
39_Altell.jpg

4/17/16 More ugly cup2000 goodness. This is how most of my schemes looked like.
10_Valvoline_Max_Life.jpg

5/6/16 This was for a short lived mock season, probably one of my better ideas at the time, this may be able to be reworked into a modern fantasy car......
14_Stering_Marlin_Waste_Manegment.jpg

5/21/16 But alas the car above is a diamond in the rough.....
6_Viagra.jpg

6/16/16 More NNC07 Goodness, pretty good for the time.
23_Kenny_Wallace.jpg

6/20/16 Yet another concept that could be reworked and improved...... This was a Bryan Clauson car..... #ParkItForBC
39_Bryan_Clauson_Havoline.jpg

6/30/16 A DEI Truex Fictional, once again a concept that may be improved upon. Past me made a good choice with the Silver stripe fade IMO
1_Martin_Truex_Jr_Bass_Pro_Shops.jpg

9/21/16 Part of my first drabbles into making TA Style road race cars.......
6_Petronas.jpg

4/7/2017 An early template work.... I mixed various car parts to make various maufactures.... Like the split grill.

As much as I love the Cup98 mod, I still have unfinished business on my Gen 4 NNC07 carset.

Some of the fanciest cars of the 2007 season, and some of the least successful as well. Introducing Red Bull Racing!

Brian Vickers only managed to start 23 races, while Rookie Allmendinger struggled mightily, qualifying for only 17 races. AJ also DNQ'd twice in 2006, and the first three races of 2008. Definitely not the best way for a new team and manufacture to get off the ground.

And as a bonus, here is an updated Kurt Busch Milller Lite Dodge, using the new metallic layer template created by @martinrace

I Need Ya'lls input
This is my W.I.P Mercury Cougar, based off the car tested by Cale Yarborough and Derrike Cope.

Merc_Cougar1.png

BUT I need your input to decide where I should go with the front. The front grill should be higher, but the problems are in the fact that the Thunderbird is more angles than the Cougar. The square windows are impossible, so those are out of the question. and Putting the grill further up would make it look less square, so I have to compensate something? Should I put the grill higher up, or should I keep it as is to better represent the squareness.

Here is the real car for reference.

Time to start work on a personal Cup98 carset.

What good 90's car set leaves out Earnhardt?

Next is Geoffery Bodine QVC Thunderbird.

And lastly, both Bodine's truck driver Dave Resendes, and Aussie Geoff Brabbham, in a pair of identical QVC T-Birds
