This actually is a legitimately hard logo to find. I had to take something close and edit it to be close enough to the real thing. I will try and get it to you when I get the chance, but it probably isn't great quality

I had a little time at lunch to upload. It has been a really long time since I made this but if I remember correct I made everything except the graphic depicting the pilot.

If we keep giving these kids stuff, they'll never learn how to find stuff on their own.

Just a simple google search will get him 90% of the way, then he'll have to improvise like the rest of us looking for old logos.

I get it, and 99% of the time I agree. In this case, I had made the logo and never posted it. I wanted to give it to him because that is my contribution to this community. It is small, but it is one I can claim. It is available here for anyone who wants it.

Now if I see another person asking for this same thing on this forum, then I have no sympathy for them, as it should be easy to find.

It's not that I'm being mean, but we have a ton of people who want us to give them everything, when they haven't even tried to look or make it themselves, "give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime" I believe that's how it goes. It's like the kid asking for a very simple base, bet he never tried to make it himself, he didn't ask for help, he asked someone else to do it for him. I didn't fall out of the tree knowing how to paint, I've had to learn, trial and error. It's like riding a bike, once you know how, then you'll always know how.
I have no problem with you giving him the logo, that was nice of you to do, at some point in time they'll need to know how to do it for themselves, never mind it was his first post.

Thank you so much! I didn't expect to get this much hate on a simple post, but I guess that is the way it goes. I was looking for the original logo that was on the car in 1987, not the modern revamped logo with the more realistic looking pilot. I looked for a simple google search, and didn't find the classic logo, so I went to various vector data bases, and didn't find it. I also went to other websites similar to this to see if anyone had a logo or good reference image, but no luck, so I went to here to see if I could find anyone who had the logo or had a good reference photo, but no luck so I took matters into my own hands and posted. I even looked into the forums to see if anyone else asked for it before me, and no one did. I've had an account for a while, and have honestly lurked and found what I needed everything before now, and am thankful for everyone who has provided files to the public. I never like taking someone else's logo when I can get the exact reference image and create it myself, but I figured it would be easier to find the file on here. In the end, I appreciate the help mtblillie, I really do, and I am glad you were able to directly help me without making assumptions on my previous searching for the logo.

I compare it to my job working at Walmart. I'm constantly asked where things are that should be easy to find. For example, on aisle 10 is a sign hanging from the ceiling that says Bread on it. Yet several times a day I'll get asked where the bread is. Or they go to the area that has the yogurt and then ask me where the milk is instead of walking around the store. If you look it's not hard to find.

If it's something that might be harder to find I understand. So say you're looking for a jar of mushrooms. If I remember right they're down our soup aisle. Your first thought isn't going to be that it's where the soup is though and without signs pointing the way to it it can be hard to find. But something like bread or cereal that are listed on the signs above the aisles, it's just being lazy (and annoying) when you ask where they are.

What I see you saying is that you have people doing that very thing. Instead of first looking, they're just asking for it. People don't want to have to do that work for you though when you're just as capable. Why should someone have to stop what I'm doing to do the work for you? It's the equivalent of asking where the bread or milk is. People have eyes so they need to look. If it's something that they've been looking for and are having trouble, then ask for some help.

Hell I have been asked at least a half dozen times where things are and I don't even work there lol

Best advice I can give you is to take something like what garrett said with a grain of salt, to not take it personally. Why I say that is because it's not your actions that he's speaking up about as much as it's other people's actions.

The response is based on experience and observation. So say 9 times out of 10 someone asks because they don't look first. By default, it's going to be looked at as every time is being that way, even for the 1 time it isn't. That isn't the fault of that one person, but the other people. You looked, but without the knowledge he's going to assume you didn't just cause most don't.
