Buddy Baker, Randy Lajoie (pictured), Bobby Hillin Jr, and Jimmy Hensley all had a turn in the Moroso Racing Ford.

Morgan Shepherd - Not entirely satisfied with this one but getting the stripes to look right across the nose is a pain. I had noticed in the original car set that the orange stripes were left off. I felt they needed to be added. Did the best I could with the patience I had.

01 Ogle jr.jpg

One of the goals of remaking the 94 set is to include every car I possibly can. This is one of those cars 98% of people have never seen.
This is Billy Ogle Jr. This was the car he attempted to qualify for a race at Richmond.
It was his 1 and only attempt at a Cup race EVER.
I spent more than a decade searching for a photo of this car and had resigned myself to the idea that a photo simply doesn't exist.
Then a while back an Autographed photo taken by a friend of Billy's turned up on Ebay as part of an estate sale. HOLY HELL I can't tell you
how excited I was. This was a Holy Grail find. No one I ever asked about it even knew it was a Morgan McClure car. Billy even used the BGN Hauler
to bring the car to the track.
So obviously I had to include this car in the set.

I was about to say that looked like an ex-McClure car, but the sense of satisfaction you get when that elusive reference material shows up is simply the best. Car looks good!

Thank you. Yeah my mind was blown when I found it. And crazy enough I can't find it now. (thankfully I saved it). The one-off rides that DNQ are usually near impossible to find from the 90's and before. And once you start getting into the 70s and 60's you are almost guaranteed to not find it unless it's in the background of a more well known car.

As for the game car. Yeah it looks okay. I think if I had actually took the time to render it it would look better. To me, it looks like a sloppy car a 1st time painter would have made but the real car doesn't look much better. 1994 was one of the biggest years all time for average car count at races and number of teams/driver combinations trying to qualify. As it is, I am now down to about 6 or 8 cars without photos.
