Hello, I feel the need to bop into the conversation, as I've been unfortunately dragged into it as the owner of the discord server in question.
First things first, Potato and Danny, please stop pestering these two fine chaps, they are just doing there job here. They already told both of you that they will not be taking in your suggestion, that is the end of that point. My Discord is a server focused on being a hub for Nr2003 content creators, and Stunod does not owe us anything for anyone. They are a private site than can be run how they please. I would love if my server could not be put in this spotlight, as I do believe most of us aren't that badly annoyed enough to pick a fight with the admins here. Failure to stop giving these guys hell will result in a ban from NRC for public violations of Rules 1, 9, and 14.
Next things next, I wanna say a couple things here to Mr.Garret and Mr.Highbank. Sorry for these two lads, and i do thank you two for putting up with all the crap on this site. However, I do believe they have some essence to an argument that cant be ignored. Its easy for you and me to navigate and find things, but for new users to NR or new creators, while Stunod is the best and most modern site for NR Content, the way of the forum website is an old trade for young people coming in, and clearly newer younger people are having a hard time understanding it. I've noticed in my short tenure here, you lads spend a lot of time dealing with this particular issue. I may be very well versed in website and graphical design, but not coding, so I have no idea how hard this idea would be, but here goes:
What if you put a checkbox verification that confirms the user uploading has read the posting rules located under the "uploading files" section, knows where their post belongs, and understands the repercussions of violated said rules? I feel, if this is at all possible, it would not only solve the argument of "I never knew where it goes" and would kill the "not being able to find it" statement with one stone. I also feel like it would relieve at least some weight of you back for the bonus of not needing to constantly argue with this stuff, for they would have already confirmed that they knew.
