Looking for a new wheel and a new PC to run NR2003 and other racing sims. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for general racing sim tech, so please let me know if this should be moved.

I have an HP from 2013 that will randomly freeze or shut down during minimal usage. From what I can tell, the power supply is going bad in it. I'm thinking of replacing it outright since it is almost 8 years old.

Any suggestions on what to replace it with? I'm looking for something to run NR2003, and possibly rFactor 2.

I'm also looking to replace my 20 year old Thrustmaster. It's on it's last legs, too. I haven't purchased a wheel since before N4 came out, and I'm not even sure what's a good brand anymore. Any suggestions for someone who is out of the loop?

Yeah, a Window XP Service Pack 3 single core cpu and a 512 meg vid card should do the trick. Oh and a 15 inch crt monitor, run the game the way it was intended.

Id suggest that you get the most pc you can, NR2003 has a limited shelf life going forward. Someone will get it right and the exodus sill be crazy.

Thanks. Just so I'm clear are you recommending purchasing a new computer with these specs or upgrade my current with these?

Thanks. How do you mean, exodus? Like, an exodus away from NR2003 and towards something else (e.g. iRacing? or another sim)?

Yes it can't last forever with the quality of newer sims, it's inevitable

This is what the game was designed to run on, I have one in the garage covered in god knows what since I didn't wrap it before I put it in there years ago.
