As far as I'm aware, this was a program that helped change UI for mods like UIE. Google only gives a result to two threads, which is unfortunate since I want to see if I can have a try at it and one day make my own UI.
You are a legend! Thank you so much!Oh yeah n2003lyt is one of my favorite programs I use frequently in NR2003 modding to this day, I am its keeper:
n2003lyt.7z
drive.google.com
Things to note:
- Its an 8 bit program meaning it can only run on 32 bit machines (32 bit machines have built in backwards compatibility for 8 program support). You can run it on modern 64 bit system but you will need to run it through a virtual machine or a virtual dosbox that supports 8 bit
- Program is run via commandline and is in German. I first translated the instructions when I was developing UIE mod in 2011-2012 before I released UIE in 2013. I have include 2 txt files:
- Mysticals quick LYT GUIDE.txt
n2003lyt_partially_translated.txt
First is just the quick way to put your changed settings back to a lyt file (after you export the gener file)
Second text is the original readme but I translated it from German to English and cleaned up a few things so its a little easier to read.
I plan to make an in-depth tutorial for it one day but these things take time, so for now good luck with what has been provided
If you have any trouble with the german just let me know. Since I am German I think I can help you with a proper translation- Program is run via commandline and is in German.
