SIGNIFICANT CHANGES INCOMING!

Me and Guest decided that a certain somebody scoring double digits in the win category each season was incredibly unrealistic and boring.

Therefore,

We are completely "resetting" and changing everything.
Unlike last time, we are starting in Trucks, and from there moving to Busch and then Cup. Our plan is to start part-time in cup by 2001.

We will be simulating a team's performance ratings, like the game does. (Ex. If we're on some random junk team like RWR, we will set the AI up pretty high.)
Here's our rating system: a 5-star system. All teams are at least 3 stars. These teams include ones outside the top 15 in avg. finish, or teams that cannot garner a win in a given season.
A team that can get an avg. finish within the top 15 and/or win races will be 4 star.
A team that can get an avg. finish within the top 5 are considered 5 star.
AI strength will be adjusted accordingly based on the team's were on ratings.

The way to get signed to one of these teams is to meet those obligations;
You start with a part time ride, able to participate in only 7 of a races in a season.
If your avg. finish in those races are better than multiple full-time drivers, then you can secure a 3 star ride.
If you perform outstandingly in part time, (Ex. meeting 4-star or 5-star obligations) the highest you can sign to is 4-star.
If your avg. finish is within the top 15's, then you can secure a 4 star ride.
If yours is in or above the top 5's, then you can secure a 5-star ride.
If you fail to meet these obligations for a third season in a row, then you drop a star on your driver rating.

This career will be incorporating earnings. Me and Guest won't be starting a team this time either. (Not in the beginning, anyways.)
Here's our economic system:

If driving for a team you don't own, you are obligated to keep 50% of the race earnings (sponsor and purse combined) if you win. You keep 40% if you finish top-10, and 30% if you finish outside the top 10.
If driving for a team you do own, of course you keep all of it. However, there are of course costs involved.
(For cup only): Costs go as listed:
Team costs: 12.5 million
Car total: 350,000 per
Engine: 150,000
Body: 75,000
Chassis/Suspension: 125,000
One of those faltering, which is determined by both looking at the car and the DNF message given by NR2003, will mean a replacement is necessary. Ex. The engine blowing altogether, (an error like a piston), will reckon an engine replacement. Repairs to the damaged car part will cost 1/2 of the new.
(These are cost estimates made from several sources, both spectator and owner/driver.)
In an article found on hardheadmarketing.com, I was able to estimate how much sponsors pay out.
Just for reference, the higher the rating of your ride, the more sponsors pay.

If it is determined that the economic system is too easy/hard, I will change it accordingly.

Please, if you plan on posting your own which mimics this one, give credit. Me and my buddy have been at this for about a year I reckon fine-tuning AI strength and other policies in general.
